Alex Hargrave

Principal

Alex Hargrave has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, including 25 years working solely with corporate retirement plans. Prior to starting Hargrave Fiduciary Advisors, he was a Partner and Executive Vice President at Nollenberger Capital Partners where he led the Retirement Plan group.

By using a disciplined approach to the development of retirement programs including plan design, development of investment strategies, management of fiduciary responsibilities and employee education and communication, Alex assists plan sponsors in creating healthy, competitive retirement programs for their companies and employees.

Alex Hargrave holds the series  65 registration with Global Retirement Partners, LLC.  He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin.

Kathuryn Gustafson

Vice President

Kathuryn (Katie) Gustafson joined Hargrave Fiduciary Advisors from Nollenberger Capital Partner where she was Vice President of Retirement Plan Services. Katie spent three years at Wells Fargo Bank as an Institutional Sales Representative and ten years at Merrill Lynch in Chicago, Illinois, where she focused on advising 401(k) plans, profit sharing plans, and defined benefit plans.

While at Merrill Lynch, Gustafson was selected as a top retirement plan advisor and became an accredited retirement plan consultant. She began her career at Smith Barney. Katie received her Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University. She holds the series 65 registration with Global Retirement Partners, LLC.

David R. Krimm, CFP®

Vice President and Advisor

Dave is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) focused on building better retirement outcomes for individuals and couples. He enjoys working with clients to generate the peace of mind that comes from creating a comprehensive financial plan that recognizes short-term objectives and facilitates long-term goals.

Dave’s career has been devoted to fostering and managing innovation, working as a serial “intra-preneur” within market-leading organizations at the intersection of financial services and technology. His experience includes senior management positions at Silicon Valley Bank, JPMorgan, Hambrecht & Quist, Intuit, and Charles Schwab & Co. He is currently Board President for Mission Asset Fund, a nonprofit microfinance organization that is on a mission to create a fair financial marketplace for hardworking families nationwide. He also serves on the Advisory Council for Sack Properties.

Dave holds a BA from Brown University, an MBA from the Yale School of Management, and the Certificate in Personal Financial Planning from the University of California at Berkeley.

He is available for a single consultation, or the creation and monitoring of a comprehensive financial plan, including an asset allocation roadmap. He does not sell investment products or provide ongoing investment management.

Heather C. Liston, CFP®, EA

Vice President and Advisor

Heather is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) specializing in resource planning for all of life, with special attention to retirement preparation and the combining and managing of assets in new or changing relationships. She also holds the IRS’s Enrolled Agent credential, as evidence of her expertise in income tax planning. Heather loves helping individuals, couples, and small businesses meet their long-term goals while also enjoying their assets and opportunities in the present.

She did her undergraduate work in liberal arts at Princeton University and earned a Masters in Accounting at the New York University Graduate School of Business Administration and a Certificate in Personal Financial Planning from the University of California at Berkeley.

Heather’s volunteer work includes positions as Board Treasurer for the Marin Shakespeare Company and Programs Co-Chair for San Francisco Financial Planning Day, and she’s a Sierra Club Leader and a long-time Fund Drive Supervisor for KQED Radio.

She is available for a single consultation, an ongoing advisory relationship, and/or creation and monitoring of a comprehensive plan. She does not manage investments or sell products, although she can refer you to appropriate people who do.
